Student Handbook

Each student receives a copy of the Student Handbook, a publication that includes the college regulations (PDF), as well as a complete description of all the offices on campus and answers to common questions. Additional copies are available through the Publications Office, located on the second floor of Main Building.

Alcohol and the Campus Community: Policies, Procedures, and Resources

This pamphlet outlines Vassar’s policies and procedures and is distributed to the entire college community. Additional copies are available through the Residential Life Office located on the first floor of Main Building, M-N120.

Drug Issues and Information Booklet

This booklet is designed to provide information about the spectrum of drugs that may be encountered at college; to encourage well-informed choices about whether or not to use them; and to provide information about their effects. The booklet is available at the The Office of Health Education in Metcalf House (845-437-7769).

The Security Bulletin Board

All pertinent announcements and information are posted on the Security bulletin board located on the first floor of the College Center. Timely reports and campus alerts are posted on this bulletin board as well as throughout the College Center, in all the residence halls, athletic facilities, and the dining center.
